Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 4 tea bags black, green, or herbal
  • 1/4 cup sugar optional
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish
  • Ice cubes
  • Fruit slices for garnish

Instructions

  • Boil 4 cups of water in a saucepan.
  • Remove from heat and add the tea bags.
  • Let the tea steep for 5-7 minutes.
  • Remove tea bags and stir in sugar if desired.
  • Allow the tea to cool to room temperature.
  • Fill a pitcher with ice cubes.
  • Pour the brewed tea over the ice.
  • Add lemon juice and mix well.
  • Garnish with mint leaves and fruit slices.
  • Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
