Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray or butter.
Pour the cornbread mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
Check doneness by inserting a toothpick in the center; it should come out clean.
Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes.
Cut into squares and serve warm, garnished with additional cheese or green onions if desired.
